It of shear necessity, over the last five weeks, I have needed to plan meals round my school schedule. I am at school two days a week from 7:30am until 5pm. It’s more cost effective to make meals, then to pay for some overpriced, mediocre, fried menagerie from the student union there. So I usually take a couple PB&J’s, a couple pieces of fruit, a few waters, and a snack. During my morning drive I consume my giant cup of coffee and soy milk and maybe a bagel or one of the PB&J sandwiches. Then at my first lunch break I eat an apple and the other sandwich. Then at my second lunch break I eat the second apple. Then on the way home I snack.
I don’t know how, but I feel like even though I’m consuming more often food and then usually, I am actually benefitting from the routine.
Who knew that all those dieting tips would actually work, I used to pile my calorie load into one meal a day and then drink liquids the rest of the day. Now, I am eating every three or four hours and my energy level is higher! I can’t believe it…I LOST FOUR POUNDS!!!…yay! I’m so excited and scared at the same time. I don’t want to plateau and get discouraged.
Well, I have officially begun my new diet plan and I haven’t even implemented any regular exercise routine yet. Unless you count parking in one place and walking to my classes all day instead of driving?
Yay! ME! (doing the party dance)
Stay tuned for more!
